Lake Tinaroo Holiday Park
Great work space at Lake Tinaroo Holiday Park

We at Woody World Packer are always on the lookout for great accommodations and/ or hospitality establishments to try, review and share with our readers.  So when we opened our email and got offered a 1 night stay at the Lake Tinaroo Holiday Park at Lake Tinaroo in the Atherton Tablelands we did a little happy dance and went off for our next adventure.

We got a very warm and happy welcome by the Lake Tinaroo Holiday Park staff. Everyone we spoke to was very friendly and welcoming and you could feel the positive and happy vibe!

When Ted at the reception explained everything about the park and told us on top of everything that they accommodated us in a 2 bedroom Waterfront Villa ( we would have been incredibly happy with one of the  budget cabins, which were looking pretty awesome too! )  it was time for a 2nd happy dance.

Lake Tinaroo Holiday Park is a popular and great holiday spot for everyone and even pets are welcome!
They offer a wide range of accommodations and there are lots of things to do for everyone.

You can enjoy yourself in the large resort style swimming pool.

Or have a go at the giant jumping pillow

Or head to Lake Tinaroo, which is located at a stone trow distance from the park.
If you head out to the lake make sure you rent a paddle board ( sup ) canoe, kayak or even a tinnie at the reception of the Lake Tinaroo Holiday Park.
For the older kids ( or adults ) who prefer to stay on land instead of the water, they hire out pedal carts as well!
Check out their website www.lthp.com.au for all the possibilities and prices.

There is also a great play area at Lake Tinaroo, just across the street of the Lake Tinaroo Holiday Park

You basically don’t have to leave the park at all, as they have a camp shop and a nice little café in the reception. The coffee is really good!

Free internet for the first day and after it is really cheap and not only in the reception area but all over the park!

If you bring your own place to sleep they have spacious and great campsites powered or unpowered, some even have their own fire pit.
Get in early to choose the site you like!

The amenities are really clean and spacious and they even have a baby change room.

Oh and did we mention the brand new camp kitchen with everything you need?

If you don’t have your own house on wheels or tent or want a bit more luxury, the Lake Tinaroo Holiday park offers a wide range of accommodations.

Budget Cabins ( which are pretty good for budget cabins ) have a convenient lay out and nice outside veranda.

Studio Units, ( Pool Side ) Family Units and Superior Villa`s

Waterfront Villa`s
This is the most luxurious and spacious accommodation Lake Tinaroo Holiday Park offers and the one we where lucky enough to stay in.
They have a great lay out and are ideally for families with children as they are spacious, and have 2 bedrooms. One is the parent bedroom ( even has an extra tv! ) and the other one is a bunk bed for 3 persons ( a double and a single on top ).
The interior is cosy and with nice and fresh colours it gives you that real holiday feeling. They are also really clean with eye for detail.
Outside you will find a large veranda and a spacious place to park your car next to your accommodation.

Planning to stay a bit longer in the Lake Tinaroo area? They also have a residential home park divided by trees from the tourist park.

All in all, Lake Tinaroo Holiday Park is a great destination for your next Atherton Tablelands Adventure with many facilities for every one!

Head to their website www.lthp.com.au to book your next Lake Tinaroo Holiday!
