Christmas Decorated Houses in Airlie Beach & Proserpine QLD

Christmas Decorated Houses Airlie Beach and Proserpine

Here in Australia, for many people, it’s an annual tradition to decorate their garden and houses with shooting stars, Santa’s, reindeer’s, snowmen, sleighs, and lights… many lights.

Some Australian homes have spectacular Christmas displays, with lights synchronic to music, dia projectors with Christmas movies and inflatable Santa’s covering their front yards.

Some people even organize fundraisers with other houses in their streets by asking gold coin donations from their visitors.

This was our first ever Christmas light tour, and after that we went looking at the Christmas Decorated homes in the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and this year in Melbourne.

After a bit of research online we could find the best Christmas Decorated Houses in Airlie Beach and Proserpine. Type in Google Christmas Decorated homes in xxx, and your place will show up with probably the best route and a map.

This year in Melbourne, we couldn’t find a proper map as there are apparently thousands of Christmas Decorated Homes in Melbourne, so we looked online for the best homes and created our own map via Google Maps.

For the Christmas homes in Airlie Beach and Proserpine, we found a local Facebook group where they are showcasing the houses, and a local real estate website had a map online with the Christmas Decorated houses.

Easy! And saves us a lot of time driving around in the streets looking for Christmas Decorated houses.

So we jumped in the car and went to Proserpine first, which is about a 15-minute drive from Airlie Beach and then checked out the Christmas Decorated houses in Airlie Beach, Cannonvale and Jubilee Pocket.

We found some great displays, some with only a few lights, other with complete Christmas themes. We all loved it!

Every time we saw a Christmas Decorated home, Sem would shout: Yeah! I see more Christmas lights! Look there!! So cute.

It’s amazing to see how much effort some people put into lighting up their houses and gardens for themselves and other people to enjoy.

Here are all the Christmas Decorated houses we found in and around Airlie Beach and Proserpine, Queensland, Australia.

Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

  • Hahaha Father Jacob 😉 Ja gaaf he?!

  • Thank you so much for the tip Robyn! We went to 19 Smith Street after you commented on our post and you are totally right! They put a lot of effort in and we ( especially our little one ) loved the Christmas light display! Thanks for sharing!

  • Hi Di!
Thanks for the tip! We went to the Atkinson Street in Proserpine before, because we recognized the house at the end of the cul de sac, but the lights must have been off at that moment we visited, because no way, we would have missed that display! Soo Amazing!! We made some pictures and updated our post 🙂

  • Didn’t see 19 Smith Street Proserpine in the images. A shame as the young couple put in a lot of work as well. Maybe I just missed it.

  • Hi there. We are between Proserpine and Airlie Beach at 876 Conway Road near the Cedar Creek Falls turnoff. #8 on the lights map. A little out of the way but we think our lights are well worth the trip. Feel free to drive on in to get a good look at the full display. Cheers.
